Overview:

The NJSS-Ⅱ Infiltrometer is finely crafted with high testing accuracy. It is suitable for determining the water permeability coefficient of asphalt mixture pavements and roller-compacted asphalt mixture specimens, to evaluate pavement permeability and asphalt mix design.

The instrument complies with JTG E20-2011 "Test Methods of Bitumen and Bituminous Mixtures for Highway Engineering" and JTG 3450-2019 "Field Test Methods of Subgrade and Pavement for Highway Engineering".

Technical Parameters:

Measuring Cylinder: Made of organic glass, mounted on the upper part of the instrument, volume approx. 600ml, graduated with 2ml resolution, with bold markings at 100ml and 500ml.
Connecting Pipe: Connects the cylinder to the base, equipped with a valve to start/stop the test.
Base: Lower opening internal diameter φ150mm, external diameter φ220mm.
Stand: Composed of column and top plate.
Counterweights: Two pieces, each approx. 5kg, internal diameter Φ160mm.
Permeable Area Ring: 1 piece, bottom diameter 150mm.
Marking Ring: 1 piece.
