Scope of Application:

This instrument is used to determine the aggregate impact value of coarse aggregates to assess their resistance to instantaneous impact or shock loading. The test procedure complies with JTG3432-2024 and the British BS standard.

Main Technical Parameters:

Measuring Cylinder: Internal diameter 76mm, internal height 51mm, wall thickness 3mm.

Impact Cup: Cylindrical steel cup with internal diameter 102mm, internal height 50mm, inner surface hardened.

Tamping Rod: Steel rod, diameter 16mm, length 600mm, one end hemispherical.

Drop Hammer Weight: 13.75Kg ±0.05Kg, lower cylinder diameter 100mm, bottom edge with 1.5mm chamfer, surface hardened.

Drop Height: 380 ±5mm.

Counter: 6-digit.
