The embedded fiber Bragg grating strain sensor is used for internal strain measurement in concrete, reinforced concrete, or plastic materials to observe long-term changes in internal stress within the structure, enabling condition analysis and achieving measurement objectives, warning, and structural health diagnosis. The sensor is small in size and easy to install. It can be connected in series or parallel, making it easy to form a quasi-distributed sensor network.
