I. Application

The BC-300 Digital Comparator is suitable for determining the drying shrinkage rate of cement paste and cement mortar specimens at various ages in accordance with the requirements of JC/T603-2004 “Standard Test Method for Drying Shrinkage of Mortar,” clause T0511 of JTGE30-2005 “Test Methods of Cement and Concrete for Highway Engineering,” JGJ70-90 “Standard for Test Method of Basic Properties of Construction Mortar,” GB11972-89 “Test Methods for Dry Shrinkage of Aerated Concrete,” and GB/T 14685 “Pebble and Crushed Stone for Construction.” It can also be used to determine the expansion rate, restricted expansion rate, and self-stress values of such cements in accordance with the requirements of JC313-96 “Test Method for Determining Expansive Ratio of Expansive Cement” and JC453-96 “Method of Physical Test for Self-stressing Cement.”

The NJBC-II Digital Comparator is suitable for high-precision measurement of expansion and shrinkage rates in accordance with the requirements of test methods such as JC476-2001 “Expansive Agents for Concrete.”
